The Carré Cultuurbank is an initiative by Royal Theater Carré. Since 1887, Carré has aimed to inspire and enrich an ever-growing audience by presenting a diverse range of performances. Accessibility is what drives us at the Cultuurbank: we want to share the magic of theater with a broad audience.
We work together with social organizations and foundations to effectively reach their communities, inviting them for theater performances. Our target groups are those who experience financial, physical or mental barriers; from lonely elderly people, vulnerable youth, to people with limited financial resources, refugees, ethnic and cultural minorities.

Carré visitors as well as business and private benefactors, and production companies contribute to the Cultuurbank, making a sustainable socio-cultural contribution to society. It is thanks to EAM that we can further expand the initiatives, encouraging Cultuurbank visitors to spread the word and invite their friends and family for a theater performance in Carré.
